With a proven curriculum delivered by world-class faculty, participants in Advancing Leadership learn to effectively manage the demands from above and below so they can successfully lead from the middle and cultivate the key competencies they need to join the senior executive ranks.

Through effective cross-organization collaboration and taking a bold approach at this key pivot point of the career journey, it's possible to discover and cultivate a unique and sustainable leadership blueprint.

Bringing together women experiencing similar opportunities and challenges, participants learn from the program's renowned faculty and exchange ideas from other individuals leading in their fields.

In-person program experience

With an emphasis on actionable insights and cutting-edge learning methodologies, each day provides an engaging and immersive learning experience. Hosted on the beautiful Smith College campus, with accommodations and most meals included, each participant can remain fully focused on the program.   

What to expect:

  • Pre-program networking facilitated by the executive education program team.
  • Resources to set goals and apply each day’s learning objectives to your specific challenges.
  • Four days of interactive classroom sessions with leading business school faculty and thought leaders.
  • Dedicated time to connect with peers and colleagues to build your network of fellow leaders. 
  • Full access to the dedicated course platform with pre-work, session materials, and discussion boards. 
  • Post-program networking opportunities to support the implementation of your learnings.
