Note from Dina Venezky, Executive Director for Non-Degree Programs:

Forty years ago, Smith Executive Education welcomed its first class of the Smith Management Program. Twenty-three participants from 14 corporations and two universities came to Smith for three weeks starting on July 27, 1980. Over the next year, we will be sharing insights, photos, and memories from the past 40 years. Although several issues in women’s leadership have been resolved, many remain. Smith Exec Ed continues to provide opportunities for women leaders to prepare for rapidly changing challenges.

We hope you will join us in celebrating 40 years of developing women leaders. Learn more »

From a 2018 Participant:

“Everything that I have learned this week will enable me to be a better leader, coach, teammate, friend, mom, wife, and family member. This program has not just taught me how to overcome obstacles in my work life, but has truly touched every aspect of my life. I will negotiate for the things that I expect, be a coach instead of a hero, and live and work for purpose.”
