Women’s Leadership Profile: Leaders in Brazil and Latin America

FDC-Smith Women’s Global Leaders Program

Companies with more women in senior leadership roles are stronger competitors in the global economy. Yet, research from Catalyst shows that less than 4% of board chairs in Brazil belong to women.

Successful global companies need diversity now, more than ever before, to meet the demands of leading in times of economic disruption. Retaining and advancing top female talent is a business imperative, and women leaders in Brazil and Latin America are ready to step up to the challenge.

I was inspired and excited to be part of such a strong network of women. It also gave me the necessary refresh I needed in my life outside of work. What specific returns did I get out of it? Two big things come to my mind: the value of being submerged in a learning environment that touched a wide range of topics – from leadership to networking to finance to health. I now have new leadership tools that will strengthen me, my teams and our practice.”
