Breaking the Gender Bias Habit®
June 13 - June 14$4,250
Gender bias and discrimination in the workplace has serious consequences; just listen to the news to understand its pervasive and negative impact on both people and business. Although research demonstrates that organizations with the most women leaders consistently outperform those with the least, gender bias persists.
Smith College Executive Education and The Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard College, two leading women’s leadership institutions, partner to bring this timely program to men and women who want to tackle the issue of bias head-on and lead meaningful change in their workplaces and beyond.
During this two-day program, participants gain a deeper understanding of how to identify and combat bias on both an individual and organization level. This program addresses that while acknowledging and being aware of the biases we possess is a good start to achieving and celebrating diversity, it is not enough. Participants learn strategies to challenge and change bias-driven behaviors moving forward.
